For women over 60 with a rising A1C

When eating well isn’t enough to move your A1C

For most women over 60 the food layer is only part of the picture, and the other part is rarely explained in a fifteen-minute appointment. This is a daily way of eating that addresses both, so your next number moves and you keep feeling like yourself for a long time to come.

Get started for $39 a month, or $397 in one payment. Full refund within 30 days.

First, what you already know

“Watch it,” they said. You watched. It kept climbing.

You cut the sugar. You walk most days. You buy the good food and cook it yourself. And the fasting number is still over 100, the A1C is still creeping, and when you ask why, the answer is a shrug.

You are not the problem. Food alone was never the whole answer — especially after menopause. What you are missing is the rest of the information.

And you are not doing this for a number. You are doing it to get down on the floor with a grandchild and get back up without thinking about it. To put a meal on the table without a second thought. To keep the mornings, the garden, the trips, the friends — and to feel good in them for as many years as you have. Not just more years. More life in the years.

Does this sound like you?

  • Your A1C sits in the prediabetes range and no one has told you how to bring it down, only to keep an eye on it.
  • You have eaten well for years. Your numbers improved a little, then stalled.
  • You are tired in a way a good night’s sleep doesn’t fix.
  • You wake at 2 or 3am and can’t say why.
  • Your mother, sister or a friend has diabetes, and you have seen what it takes.
  • You think about food more than you would like to — what you can have, what you should skip, what you’ll do at the restaurant.
  • You have been told it’s just your age. You don’t believe that — and you’re right.

The part nobody explained

Four things raise your blood sugar without a bite of food.

Most programs address none of them. That is why diet alone stalled.

Sleep

One poor night raises cortisol and pushes your morning glucose up while you slept. This is why the fasting number is high even after a perfect day.

Stress

Ongoing stress tells your liver to release stored sugar. You can eat nothing and still watch the number rise.

Inflammation

Low-grade inflammation keeps your cells from responding to insulin, no matter how little sugar you eat.

Hormones after menopause

Estrogen helped your cells use insulin. Once it is gone, insulin resistance can rise for the first time in your life — with no change in your diet.

The Whole GI Protocol works on the food layer and these four. That is the difference between managing a number and getting your energy, your sleep and your ease back — and keeping them.

How it works

Two layers. One simple daily plan — inside the life you already live.

This is not a new thing to start. There is no day one where everything changes. You keep your breakfast, your kitchen, your Sunday dinners. The Protocol changes how and when you eat, a little at a time, until it is simply how you eat — and food stops being something you have to think about.

The Whole GI Protocol

The eating framework women have used since 2013. Not a list of foods to avoid — eight daily principles about how and when you eat. Once they are yours, you can put together a steadying meal anywhere: your kitchen, a restaurant, a friend’s house, a hotel.

Root Cause Reversal

A short self-assessment shows which of the four drivers is yours. Then one food step and one non-food step for that driver are folded into your day. No second to-do list, no separate program to keep up with.

You will see it working. Steadier energy by the second week. Fewer 3am wake-ups. Afternoons without the slump. Then the fasting number on your own meter, and then the A1C at your next appointment. Proof arrives in small, noticeable pieces — and it keeps arriving.

Women who were told to watch it

They reversed it instead — and got their days back.

“My A1C went from 6.2 to 5.4 in 90 days.”

Kim, 71

She had tried every low-carb approach and her numbers barely moved. Her drivers were sleep and cortisol. Three months later: normal range for the first time in four years.

“I finally understood why nothing was working.”

Terri, 73, nutritionist

Her own blood sugar stayed high despite knowing the science. The hormones protocol was the first thing that addressed her situation with the same depth as the diet.

“Down 11 points on my fasting glucose in eight weeks.”

Victoria, 66

Resistant to another program and short on time. The First 30 Days worked around her life instead of turning it upside down.

Before you decide

The honest questions.

I’ve tried everything. Why would this be different?

Everything you have tried was almost certainly about food. This is the first program that works on sleep, stress, inflammation and post-menopausal hormones inside your daily eating plan, in the right order for your body.

Isn’t this just my age?

Age changes the rules; it doesn’t end the game. The hormonal shift after menopause is a specific, known mechanism, and there is a specific way to support it. Women in their 60s and 70s do this program and move their numbers.

Will I have to give up bread and go keto?

No. The Protocol is about how and when you eat far more than what. You keep real meals, real bread, real dinners with the people you love.

Is this another program I have to start?

No. It is a way of eating you ease into over thirty days, inside your own routines. Most women say the same thing around week four: it stopped feeling like something they were doing and became how they live.

I’m not comfortable with a lot of technology.

You don’t need to be. Your journal arrives in the mail. Everything can be printed. If you can read an email and click a link, you can do this — and I answer email personally.

Should I tell my doctor?

Yes, please keep them in the loop, especially if you take medication. Many women bring their journal to their appointment. This program is educational and works alongside your care, not instead of it.

What if it doesn’t work for me?

Work the First 30 Days. If it isn’t right for you, email me within 30 days and I will refund you in full.

Timing

Your A1C is measured every ninety days. The next one is already on the calendar.

Start now and the next appointment is the one where the number finally moves — and the months between are the ones where you notice you feel better. Wait, and it is the same conversation as last time.

A note from me

I came to this work through the women in my own family — watching preventable disease take hold in people I loved, and then reversing insulin resistance in my own body when no one had explained how.

Twelve years and thousands of clients later, I keep refining the Protocol because the need is still here. This version puts the four non-food drivers inside the daily plan, so you are never handed a second list — just a steadier way to live the life you already have, for a long time. It is what I wish someone had given my mother.
